FAQ

Q: What are your hours?
A: We will be open for the first 2 weeks of school from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our website is always live, however, to accommodate those who are not able to make it into the store. Please refer to our Customer Service page for dates of operation.

Q: Where is an order I placed?
A: Because we are a pop-up bookstore, it takes a bit of time for our inventory to arrive. We try to process and ship out orders 2-3 weeks prior to the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters. Rest assured, your orders have been received. We will contact you if there are any issues with an order you placed.

Q: How long do I get to keep the rental?
A: Rentals are due back on the last day of finals for each specific term.
 
Q: I like to buy my books instead of renting because I may need them.  Why should I rent?
A: We have a no-risk rental which means your full rental price can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay $50 to keep the book at the end of the semester. Renting also removes the risk of buying a book and not being able to sell it back.
 
Q: What if I end up not needing a book?
A: You have until our last day on campus (dates vary by semester, but usually 2 weeks after the semester begins) to return any unneeded books for a full refund. That gives plenty of time for you to decide if you will still need the book you have purchased, so buy early!

Q: Where do I return my rentals?

A: Once your last final is over please return your books to the bookstore in the Mitchell Student Center (under the cafeteria). If you are an online student and live too far away, please ship the books to our main location:

Q: Do you buy back books?
A: Yes, we buy books that we are currently using for upcoming semesters. All you need to bring into the store is your ID and the books you wish to sell. 

Q: What if I lost my book?
A: You only have to pay the difference in how much was paid for the rental minus the purchase price.
